Let's assume you have a
reasonably well insulated ice box on your boat with about 3" of foam insulation and a
good seal on the door or lid.
Measure the overall
inside dimensions of the box. Let's ignore the irregular shapes for the moment and
use the overall dimensions. This is really more of an estimate than a precise
measurement. If you have a long sloping wall measure the width at the middle of the
box.
