 The QL marine cabin air heater provides warm, dry and comfortable heat for a cabin or to clear frosted or fogged windows. The cabin air heater - defroster uses heat from the engine's cooling system and transfers it into the cabin. A 3 speed low noise fan circulates air through a heat exchanger. The heated air can be ducted through (up to ) four separate outlets to defrost or defog the windshield or warm up a cabin or helm position. The marine air heater can be installed vertically or horizontally. Its compact design makes it easy to locate. The stainless steel construction and copper/brass heat exchanger will provide many years of trouble free service. The QL air heater comes in two sizes. Updated on 3/31/2009 Available for 12 V or 24 VDC supply. It consumes very little power. The air heater can be installed above the engine and any air trapped in the coolant system can be vented through an air bleed valve. Optional accessories include air hoses, hose connections and various types of air valves and vent covers. For installations with multiple heaters or defrosters consider using a SEC Plate heat exchanger. The plate heat exchanger and small circulation pump will allow for a separate coolant loop for the heaters. Heaters can then be placed above the level of the engine with no concern about restricting the circulation of the engine coolant.
