Frigoboat Water Cooled Systems

Water cooling offers many advantages: Increased capacity. Flexibility in locating the composer. Heat is discharged into the sea- outside the boat. Effective cooling - water is an excellent cooling medium ( water temperatures are generally lower)

The self-priming flojet pump provides cooling water to the corrosion resistant copper-nickel condenser/heat exchanger. The pump is separate from the compressor and can be mounted in a convenient location.

The 50W, single compressor unit has very compact dimensions.

The new 52W ( 2000 Series) twin compressor unit uses two Danfoss BD50 Compressors operating in tandem. This powerful combination has the capacity to run large multiple holding plate refrigerator/freezer combinations.
